Do I need my own bot or a webhook URL?

No. Discord is a native FormWire connection: you authorize your server and channel from the form's Integrations tab. There's no bot to host and no webhook URL to generate.

Which fields show up in the Discord message?

By default the key submission fields: name, contact and message. You choose exactly which fields are included when you connect the integration, each on its own line.

Can different forms post to different channels?

Yes. The integration is configured per form, so your applications form can post to #mod-applications while your feedback form posts to #feedback.

Posts aren't reaching a channel I can see. What's wrong?

Discord posting fails when the FormWire connection has been removed from the server, or when the target channel's permissions don't let it post there. Confirm the connection is still authorized on the server and that the channel permits it, then reconnect from the Integrations tab. Anything sent meanwhile is still stored in your dashboard.

Does Discord replace my email notifications?

It's an additional destination. You still get the email and the stored dashboard record; Discord is one more place the submission lands.

What happens if Discord is down?

Nothing is lost. Every submission is stored and emailed before Discord is notified, so the record stays in your dashboard whatever Discord is doing.
